These men, who inherited their considerable wealth, sincerely believe that they are morally and civilly better than you. That Democracy -- one man/woman, one vote -- is crap, and should quietly be replaced with Plutocracy, where our Betters rule. A neo-feudalism. A new Apartheid. They indisputably believe that, in the service of that end, the socioeconomically marginal and cognitively vulnerable serve a useful purpose only to the extent that they can be manipulated into working against and voting against their own rational interests.
"Useful Idiots."
While others comprising the Kochistan stratospheric socioeconomic class are quite content to focus on their below-the-radar rapacious acquisitiveness, the Koch brothers make no secret of their efforts and intent to obliterate Democracy.
They may well succeed.
They are by no means alone in such a view, but they are in fact the Poster Boys for the coming American Socioeconomic Apartheid.
